Whew!

It sure doesn't take long after going back to work to feel like I never left, you know? We are so busy and short handed that I will be working this Friday and then next Saturday, too!

This has been an unusually hot and humid summer so far. I am not complaining but this humidity can take a hike! I don't know how you southern buddies of mine can live with this every summer! Plus I haven't had a good hair day a long time!

My car sits in the sun all day in the parking lot. This was the temp inside when I got into it yesterday.

I am so mad at my urologist office. Had a CT scan on Wednesday and they still haven't called me with the results! I even left a message on their "results" line last Friday and they still haven't called me! Today I called to bitch at them and they were closed! Agghhh! If I ever have a serious problem I probably will find another urology office. I'm almost done with these guys anyway. Another 6 months of follow up and that should be it! My blood work all came back good though. My primary doctor, Dr. L is awesome and she gets back with me as soon as she has any test results. Dr. H needs to take a few lessons from her!

Thats it for now! Off to watch some TV before bedtime!!

  1. What I've hated about this summer is, because of water restriction & I understand that, my whole front yard is gone! I've worked SO dang hard in it; it just makes me sick to look at it. And, because it is SO hot, I'm going to have to wait until next spring to set it right.

Okay, that was my gripe for the day. :)

I don't blame you for being upset about not getting results; but, when you do, I hope it's good! Waiting - we sure seem to do a lot of that these days.

Hope you rest well tonight. ((hugs))

  2. This has been a hummer of a summer for us in the South too this year. I've seen it climb to 108 a couple of times and 115 once. 100+ has been pretty usual and the humidity is so high you can wring out the air! I know it must be harder on our Northern buds.

I had a ct done today, I sure hope it doesn't take them too long to take a look at it.

  3. Hottest summer on record for us. I so long for the 70's and low humidity!!! Hope that doc gets back to you. Nothing worse then waiting for test results.

  4. This summer has been brutal. I think we recently passed 60 days over the 90 degree mark. And looking at the forecast, there's no end in sight!

Yeah, some doctors sure don't understand customer service. Fire them when they don't measure up!
