We are getting ready to paint our family room, kitchen and living room. Since it's all one big room I want to be sure we get the right color of paint.
The lighting in this picture is terrible and even though the wall looks grey, its actually a beige. These are the colors we most liked. We haven't decided for sure yet, but I think the third from the right is the one we are going with. It's called Confident White. Not too bright, not too creamy but lighter than the wall is now.

I think picking out a paint color is hard, because it's something you have to live with for years.

ReplyDeleteWe have a number of painting projects on our list for this year. I used to love to paint but now not so much. I like the color you chose. Picking one is half the battle I think.
ReplyDeleteWe just did this. I picked the color and it really scared me because it didn’t look like what I had picked. Thankfully it looks gorgeous but at first I had a sick stomach about it, thinking I had really blown it:
ReplyDeleteI think the one you picked looks nice. I went with a darker color whereas a lighter one is I think easier to gauge. It will look nice. We still need to paint the hallway. I’ve been too busy.
It is so hard to tell how the walls will look with these small samples. I always mess up, and we end up having to buy several different colors. Be sure and take before and after photos!

ReplyDeleteThe second from the left looks like it's pretty close to the current wall color. Any of them would look nice but I like the three on the right better than the three on the left. I can never decide on paint colors and I hate to paint.
