Seeing as there is not a lot going on right now, I thought it would be a good time to purge the photos from my phone.
I have been collecting feathers this summer on my walks.
The birds have finally found my bird bath I put out a few months ago. It's hard to get a picture of them because they know when you point your phone at them and fly away!
This is me and Rich getting gas the other day! Meijer grocery store has M-perk rewards where you get points when you shop. When you accumulate 10,000 points you can get $1 off per gallon of gas.
You can get up to 30 gallons and because it's only good for one transaction we have to park butt to butt at the pump, pump gas into one and then the other without turning the pump off. To fill both of our cars is about 30 gallons so we take full advantage of it! And yes, we have two red Equinox's. One is a 2014 and one is a 2025.
This is Celery.
This is my neighbor's cat who comes to visit us occasionally! He's super friendly and we love visiting with him but I wish my neighbor wouldn't let him out!
Maxwell and Levi are getting an aquarium and some glow fish. Here they are helping mom get it set up.
Lastly my azalea plant decided to throw out one more bloom before summer ends!
This has been the weirdest year for this plant! It will be interesting to see what it does next year!
That's it for now!
See you next time and thanks for stopping by!

Well I guess I'm not the only one finding feathers. Good idea with filling both cars at the same time especially when you are getting that much off on a gallon
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have heard of Glowfish. Wonder why they named him Celery? Goodness, I am really impressed that you know which birds these feathers came from! We are birdwatchers, but I would have no idea bout the feathers. I wish we had a birdbath! We did for awhile, but it broke.
ReplyDeletePretty feathers!
ReplyDeleteWe've done the same with gas deals, it's worth it.
Yes, it's been a funny year for plants on this side of the state too.
Those are cool feather finds. Good idea on getting the gas together like that. My husband and I also drive the same car, but different colors.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea about getting the gas for both cars, with your discount. I would have never thought of that! I hope Maxwell and Levi enjoy their aquarium. I remember we had one when I was a little girl. I used to cry so hard when a fish would die that the aquarium was very short-lived. *haha* Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteSafeway here offers those gas deals but it takes a long time to get them because it’s not where I buy my groceries - way too expensive. We did gain some points twice and both times were unexpected surprises.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your photo dumps. The boys and their fish names - they’re similar. Cute!
That gas deal is great.. save anyway we can right? Oh the boys must be so excited about their future fish!
ReplyDeleteTheir is a grocery store we go to that does the same thing with gas. We don't get points though. Every time you shop you get cents off the gas and can save up the cents.
ReplyDeleteThe feathers are lovely! Filling both cars is a wise idea!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your photo dump. I need to try that. Poppy and I collect feathers too...until I get tired of them laying around collecting dust. :)
ReplyDeletePretty feathers! I seem to only find trash and sharp things on my walks.
ReplyDeleteNew fish tank fun!
We have Kroger and those gas points are awesome. I just had .50 off a gallon for the month of August and was thrilled.
ReplyDeleteA fish tank will be so fun for the boys. I've never heard of glow fish, you'll have to get a picture when they come.
I also love finding and collecting feathers---look at us, two birds of a feather!
ReplyDeleteHow fun for the boys to have their very own fish. I had to giggle at their creativity when it comes to naming them. :)
I love watching birds at my birdbath too---but yeah, let's keep Celery away from them.
You are too clever with your gas pumping situation---I love it!
Those feathers are so pretty. I love to find feathers, too. I love watching my birds come and sing around my house. I love birds.
ReplyDeleteA cat named Celery ... love it. Now they need an orange one named Carrot. Dagny looks for feathers on her wanderings too! xoxo
