I went to an estate sale that was less than a mile from my house.
This is the house. It was not for sale at this moment.
Zillow estimates it's worth at $504,000, There was some interesting stuff.
I have a small collection of these brass Bulova clocks. They were priced at $12 each.
There was lots of jewelry.
I can't remember what they were asking for it. They used to sell for a lot on eBay. I don't know if they still do.
I know that looks like trees up ahead but actually it was clouds. They were so big and dark and made the whole scene really strange!
Remember this Wedgewood Queensware?
And this vintage Tupperware cake taker.
I thought this scale was pretty interesting. It's bigger than it looks in the picture.
They were asking $60 for it and the Life magazine was from December 1949. That was $2.
I did not buy anything at this sale.
In other news I took this picture on my way home from work the other night.
I hate that it's dark when I get off work now and will be for the next 4-5 months!
Finally, our Levi turned 7 years old on Saturday.
It's hard to see but the sign on his cake says "Bruh I'm 7" Bruh is his current favorite word!
That's all for now.
See you next time and thanks for stopping by!

I used to have one of those tupperware cake carriers. I wonder what I did with it? :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful sky shot.
Happy Birthday Levi!
Levi is adorable! I would have been so tempted by the cute miniature clocks! That sky is frightening!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Levi. His cake looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteI'll be driving home in the dark pretty soon. I hate driving at night.
My mom had that same Tupperware cake cover. Happy birthday to the little bruh! 😎
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Levi!! Such a cute cake and he looks so excited.
ReplyDeleteHappy 7th Birthday Bruh.. it's one the most used words in my house as well.
ReplyDeleteThese estate sales are always so interesting. You never know what you might find.
Bruh?! Hilarious. Happy birthday to your sweet Levi!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have that vintage cake carrier....which is strange since I rarely bake anything!
I'm already not enjoying the evenings getting dark earlier, but that is a lovely sky!!
I still have that Tupperware cake taker!!! I use it all the time.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Levi.
I love clocks, so those were a fun find to me. I hate it being dark so early. I’m barely getting a walk in after dinner. Happy Birthday to your Bruh 🤣
ReplyDeleteLevi is absolutely adorable! So many items in your photos. Happy Birthday to Levi.
ReplyDeleteHappy 7th to Levi - I'm sure you're wondering where the years have gone to! Our first grandbaby will turn one in just a week. Hard to believe! I find that I don't go to or buy anything at estate sales anymore. I've got too much of my own collection, and have nowhere to put things! The scales did look interesting though! Many blessings to you :)
ReplyDeleteI love estate sales too, but I usually end up just looking and imagining what I would buy. That cake for Levi made me laugh“Bruh I’m 7” is the perfect sign for a 7-year-old. Looks like he had a great birthday.
ReplyDeleteAwwww Levi is such a big handsome seven-year-old boy! I hate hate hate the early dark! It fills my soul with dread and I never really get used to it, hahaha! Those clouds really did look like trees! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday (late) to Levi. He is one good-looking young man!
ReplyDeleteRegarding the Bulova clocks, when I graduated from high school, my parents gave me a gold Bulova watch with a clock face shaped like a flower. It was so pretty.
Whenever I read these estate sale posts of yours, it makes me kind of want to go to one - even though I highly doubt I would buy anything.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Levi!
