I had a post up about my dad a few days ago but I took it down. It was depressing and I don't like my blog to be depressing.

We'll just leave it at my dad has stage IV lung cancer and the prognosis is not good. As of today, Sunday, he is in the hospital for the 2nd time while they try to get his oxygen levels good again and figure out what treatment, if any, he will get. I will keep you updated.

Anyway, so far this weekend has been absolutely gorgeous! I took Friday off so I had the past 3 days off.

Brad's mom and dad had a little birthday party for Shauna and Brad a few weeks ago. They're birthdays are only 6 weeks apart.

Her clothes are getting tight an she's getting a tiny little belly! She said the baby was sapping all of her energy and I told her he's storing it for when he's a toddler!

This was the sky one morning when I was leaving for work. One good thing about late summer is the sunrises and sunsets are absolutely glorious!

Top to bottom: Toby, Smudge, Max, Coco (left) and Zoe.

Even though the cat hair generated by 5 cats is enough to drive me up a wall, I love my kitties! They are such a comfort to me when times are stressful!

Until the next time....

I finally remembered to put your blog in my reader so I won't miss any more of your posts.
I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I know what a difficult time it must be for you. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank goodness for all that feline love you've got there. I really miss having a cat in the house. Some day I will have another one.

You have beautiful kitties. I love the sunsets of summer and fall. And even winter! That is all I love about winter. I am so sorry to hear that about your dad. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers!! Sending you a hug!

I feel so badly for your dad, and all of you who love him. Prayers for him my sweet friend.

Oh yes, I can tell Shauna and Brad how much "fun" those two year old's are. LOL Hopefully, when JJ turns 3 in December he'll calm down a bit, but what can I say; he's a boy, right? :) Is she having any cravings? I remember when I was expecting Patti, I'd go to bed early so I could sleep "quick" and have my scrambled eggs every morning (cooked in lots of butter). :)

It's good that you have your kitties, and they bring you comfort. Did I ever tell you that I'm allergic to cats, and so are Britt & Hunter? That doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing yours though.

xoxo and lots of hugs for you, my buddy.

My Dad died of heart problems...lung had cancer from asbestos.
It's hard, I know....but he has YOU, thank God.
You are his "gift".....

I saw that post and when I went to read it--poof it was gone.
These are hard times for you and him.
Probably nothing to do, but keep him as pain free and comfortable as possible.
Sorry Sweetie.
