Someday I hope to have that title!

F is for flowers

This is the extent of the flowers on our property right now. Tulips that are up about 6 inches. 

 

I plan on planting lots of flower this year!

E

E is for Exercise

My favorite way to exercise is to take a long walk outside or hike a trail somewhere.

That has not been possible here in Michigan for several months now so my next choice is this:

My treadmill in the basement bedroom.

I will run on my treadmill where I don't run outside because I am afraid of falling.

I have a TV to watch and little motivational stickers that say "stronger, better, faster" and "lean and fit", although I'm so used to seeing them there I hardly notice them anymore!

And hand weights when I remember to grab them!

That treadmill has gotten a lot of use during this worst winter ever!

D

D is for Dishwashing

We raised our kids in a small three bedroom ranch house. For the 21 years that we lived there I had a dishwasher only about the first 3 years. It was one of those that you rolled up to the sink and connected. One day when I needed it the most, it blew up on me! So that was that. We never replaced it, and I never had a dishwasher again until we moved into our current house.

Washing dishes by hand, however, was one chore that I never mind doing.

Something about having my hands in that hot, soapy water soothes me.

I don't even mind drying them and putting them away.

One of the things I do mind, though, is emptying the dishwasher when it's done.
It is one of my least favorite chores!

 

So this sight always makes me happy!

B is for Bookcases of which I have three.

Two tall ones

And one small one.

Bookcases are great storage spaces!

OK Here we go with the first post of the April A-Z Challenge. There is over 1,600 people signed up for this challenge! I plan on visiting every one of them! Ha ha! Just kidding of course!

A is for Avenger

2008 Dodge Avenger that is ...my car.

I leased it in January 2008 and in 2011 when the lease was up I bought it.

I loved it and couldn't bear the thought of giving it up! It's a great car with all the bells and whistles!

It's getting on in years now with over 60,000 miles on it but I plan on driving in until the tires fall off!
