Over Valentines Day weekend they did baptisms at our church. I was curious to see how they were going to do it because it is such a large church.
It actually was pretty cool. There were two baptismal pools, one on each side of the stage. The stage would be dark, a light would go on over one of the pools where they would baptize one person, then the same thing on the opposite side. Meanwhile the congregation was singing a beautiful praise song and clapping and cheering for each baptism. It was an awesome thing to watch!
I heard that they baptized about 100 people between the three services.
See you tomorrow!

100 people?? That is a lot!!!

ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of people for one day. It must be a very large church.
ReplyDeleteYour church must be HUGE!!! This was a very nice way to do the baptisms. Now I am curious what religion it is?
ReplyDeleteGinny-It's non-denominational. And yes, it's huge!
