Friday I went to an estate sale on the first day. I try to wait a few hours after they open if I can to avoid a line but this time there was still a line a few hours after it opened so I drove by and just went home.
Saturday we were busy volunteering for 1,000,000 Meals and then had the boys overnight.
Sunday after church I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and happened to be passing right by the estate sale so of course, I had to stop!
It was the third day, and everything was 50% off.
This was the house:
A 1,265 sq. ft. condo. It was not for sale yet but Zillow estimated it at $290,000.
It was the last day of a 3-day sale, and everything was 50% off. As I was walking up to the door a man who was walking out said, "There's not much left in there'" My thought is always if it was meant for me to find it then it's in there!
All the stuff was combined into the living room, kitchen, basement and garage
This is the kitchen:
I thought the kitchen was very pretty.
I loved these glass front cabinets!
This was the basement:
Very small but nicely finished.
Here's what was meant for me at this estate sale!
This pretty round tray with a glass bottom.
I originally wanted it to go on the island in our kitchen, but it didn't really work there so it's on the dining table with my grandmother's glass bowl inside.
I'm not 100% happy with it like that right now but it will do until I think of something better!
Total spent: $12.50
In other news
I spotted this in a parking lot. No, it's not two masked people sitting there. Those are headrest covers! I thought it was pretty clever!
That's all for now.
Until the next time take care and thanks for stopping by!

I really do like that kitchen. Glad you found something you can use.
ReplyDeleteNice basket. The masked headrest covers are creepy.
ReplyDeleteYou got a good bargain at the sale.
ReplyDeleteThose headrest covers are most interesting!
I think the glass tray and glass basket look really good together. I do not like the kitchen floor, though!
ReplyDeleteYour tray looks very nice. You'll enjoy it, I'm sure. That car with the "head" rests -- how clever (and a little scary!).
ReplyDeleteThe tray is pretty.
ReplyDeleteNever saw covers like that before. :)
That is a really nice looking kitchen and the finished basement looks nice too.
ReplyDeleteI saw those same headrest covers on a car here a while back. I had to do a double take when I spotted them
I've seen those headrest covers and I did a double take, like what the heck? Lol. Funny.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty tray. I hope find the right spot for it.
I agree, I like the kitchen.
ReplyDelete"if it was meant for me to find it then it's in there!" - nice!
OK that car thing is CREEPY, hahahaa! I would probably start crying if I saw that. But WOWZA that tray you got! LOVE IT!!!!! Great deal, too. And that kitchen IS gorgeous!!!! Especially the floor, and I love glass-front cabinets! Hey FYI there is something bad wrong with my blog and comments are not getting through to me. We are working on it but just in case you have dropped by since 4/24 when I put the first post up after a hiatus, the comments are not showing up since then. I did reach out and they found three comments but I know from people reaching out to me that there are more. If one of them is yours, I'm sorry!!!!! xoxo 🏴☠️
ReplyDeleteOhmyword! Lolol... wonder if they've ever been turned in for burgulars? Lolol
ReplyDeleteA cook find! Love the glass insert...
hugs
Donna
I have that very tray---but I think I might have given it to one of my girls when we moved from our last house. It's from Southern Living Home; do you remember those house parties back in the early 2000's?
