My latest estate sale adventure was at this house:
It's a 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 3,215 sq ft home that recently sold for $665,000. Although nothing super special on the outside the inside was a different story! I have to show you this sale in 2 posts because they will be picture heavy.
I took more pictures of the inside of the house than I normally do. Yes, it's a little outdated but I have never seen such a lovely, perfectly kept house. Everything was pristine! They had the floors covered with cardboard and plastic to keep it that way, too!
Here's the kitchen.
Beautiful! There were white tiles underneath the cardboard.
This dining room was so pretty. I loved the blinds on the windows, and they were throughout the house!
Note: I stand corrected. Those were not blinds but plantation shutters!
The carpet was white with blue flowers.
This was the living room.
It's bigger than the picture makes it look. I had to crop a person standing by the table out!
This was the den.
The built-in shelves were beautiful!
The carpet throughout the rest of the house was white.
This was one of the bedrooms.
I loved the way the chenille bedspread was draped over the bed!
Also, the estate sale company did a beautiful job with the presentation!
This closet shelf had Christmas decorations on display.
This is the linen closet. So neat and organized!
This was the only bathroom that was open.
Spotless! I love a sunken tub!
This was the closet in the master bedroom.
Beautiful clothes but not my size.
This bedroom was nice and had all of the sheets, bedspreads and blankets.
This closet had more home decorations on display.
And this is where they had the tablecloths and runners!
This was the master bedroom.
Very large and very pretty!
The staircase was so nice!
I like the way it curved.
This was the family room.
Really big with huge windows!
This was the prettiest sunroom.
The rug that was covered was very nice, and not for sale!
This was a room in the basement.
Also in the basement was this pantry.
Storage shelves with a bunch of different holiday decorations.
There was workroom that had jars and containers of nuts and bolts and nails, etc...
Someone was very organized!
Back upstairs, this was the deck view outside one of the windows.
Even the garage was spotless and perfect!I could have walked around looking at this house for hours. I actually was looking for flaws like a scratch on the wall or a dent on the floor, but nothing! It was that pristine!
There was also a lot of nice and interesting things for sale which I will show you in the next post!
Until then take care and thanks for reading!
Such a charming house!
ReplyDeleteThe rooms looked so spotless and cared for.
Love the sunken tub, the big family room, and that curved staircase . Your photos are beautiful, Jeanette.
That is a beautiful house. White carpets would not work in my house. White anything isn't a good choice in my house...lol Love that sunroom.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty house. Growing up, we had " champagne beige" colored carpet. Crazy. My mom was always cleaning them.
ReplyDeleteWow, impressive. Such attention to detail. Your estate sale posts always make me wonder about the people who lived there. White carpets - brave!
ReplyDeleteI love built in shelving. I agree, it is a beautiful home.
ReplyDeleteBoth a deck and a sunroom!!!! What a dream. And it is huge. Much larger than it looks form the outside. Love the big closets! The only thing I don't like is the wallpaper borders. I wait to see if you bought anything.
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a beautiful house. So neat and clean and organized. You can tell it's a home well loved.
ReplyDeleteWow that really is impressive! I too love plantation shutters and I think they just elevate a room. The family room, sun room, and deck would be my favorite spaces! xoxo
ReplyDeletePlantation shutters have always been a favorite of mine. I think they make a room look so nice. The house is really nice and I love so many different things about it. I think it's my favorite of all you've shown.
ReplyDeleteSomeone took good care of that home!!
