Summer Marches ON

Remember Bugsy from Christmas time?

Here he is today!

He''s already over 60 pounds and not even a year old yet! He's going to be a big dog...and a good dog, too! He was very well behaved when we were over there last week and he's not even a year old yet!

This is my sweet little great-nephew Anthony.

He's having surgery on Wednesday to close a hole in his heart. It's a scary thing but thankfully he's having it done by renowned surgeon at Mott Children's Hospital at University of Michigan where I work. He will be at the best place he could possibly be and I have all the confidence they will take good care of him there!

That's pretty much it for now. Shauna and Brad are off to Myrtle Beach this week. I'm very excited for them! They plan on leaving at 4:00 on Sunday morning  to reach their hotel in MB at the approximate check-in time at 4:00 on Sunday afternoon! Oh to be young again!

Then Rich and I are on vacation the following week. We are planning a small trip into the UP to see some waterfalls!

In the meantime, try to spend some time in the sun!

Until the next time.....

  1. Anthony is so precious! I pray all will go well, and glad they're able to do this at a young age.

Everybody's going on vacation! How great is that! One of my oldest and best friends lives in MB; they love it there. Hope Shauna and Brad will love it also! :)

  2. Enjoy your time at Tahquamenon Falls--or Crystal Falls--or Bond Falls--or wherever you are going. The UP is the best summer vacation spot in my opinion!!

  4. I agree that the summer is marching on! Your pooch is cute! And the little guy too. I will say a prayer for him to recover well from his surgery. It's a scary thing to have a child face surgery.

And enjoy your upcoming vacation time and traveling adventure!
