This morning I was running late so I parked in the structure down the hill and across the river from the hospital. I buy temporary permits for that reason. 

When I got off This afternoon I walked to the structure. It was cold but the sun was shining and it's a nice walk. 

Here is the Huron River as I was walking on the bridge. I thought it looked pretty cool with the sun shining in it.

This plant is in one of the elevator lobbys at work. I think it's a jade plant but I'm not sure. I didn't think they grew that big. 

Anyway I love it. I broke off a small piece to see if it will root.

The FitBit on my ankle

I got a FitBit for Christmas this year. I have been wearing it religiously every day. I was wearing it on my wrist but found that it wasn't very accurate. When I would move my arm but not walk it would still register steps and when I was walking but not moving my arm it wouldn't register the steps I was taking.

Finally someone suggested wearing it on your ankle and now it is much more accurate. I am surprised how many Steps I do walk every day. Consistently over 10,000.

Of course the band is too small for my ankle so have to tuck it in my sock but whatever works!

I've decided to do a photo a day post for the month of February to see if I can motivate myself to post more often.

I'm going to post a photo or two I take everyday.  

Since I am one day late posting I am going to post yesterdays picture today and today's picture tonight. 

This is a pin that I made for my mom when I was a child. I found it in a box in the closet of my dads bedroom. 

I think I was in Camp Fire Girls at the time so I was maybe 8 or 9. I remember I wanted to just make dots with the green paint but it ran down one side so I had to change the whole design!

Then topped it off with glitter!

Rich says it looks like the earth!
