I managed to get to a couple of estate sales in the last week. My friend Marie and I went to one at this 2200 sq ft condo. It was not for sale but Zillow estimated its value at $437,000.
The reason I tell you the square footage is because every foot of this place was full of stuff! It definitely takes one of the top 5 in crammed full estate sales I've been too!
Of course there was a ton of jewelry!
Nothing appealed to me though.
And telephones!
There was more. These are just the ones I took pictures of!
Every kind of crucifix.
This is just one of a few closets full of boxes!
I would have been in box heaven, but they were priced anywhere from $15 to $25 each, which is way over my box budget!
This is all make-up bags.
They were $2 each.
I've been seeing tons of Beany Babies this year!Of course, the obligatory furs!
They were $75 each.
This box was full of fur collars
They were $20 each.
Christmas wreaths.
Gift bags, napkins and tablecloths.
$1 t0 $2 each.
Percolators and carafes.I considered buying one of the corning percolators, but they were $35 each.
Gift boxes!
My friend Marie always looks for crystal Christmas trees but even with all this stuff there was none to be found!
This OLD stand mixer.
They were asking $25 for it.
That's just a sprinkling of what was in this sale. In spite of all that stuff we both left empty handed! I thought about going back on the last day to see if everything was 50% off but never got the chance to!
In other news Shauna sent me this picture.
Yes, we are not ready for frosty mornings!
Next time I'll tell you about the other estate sale where I actually bought something!
Until then take care and thanks for stopping by!

I did not see anything that I want either! Although your first photo of the pastel princess phones , they look so pretty. Kind of a retro decoration. I don't think any of the wreaths are pretty. And the boxes!!! I have many like these, and some you can buy for five dollars!!! Especially at dollar General. They have these in all sizes at great prices. Wonder who priced these things!
ReplyDeleteThose prices seem high! NO TO SNOW!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Shauna! We got it too.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite the sale. They liked to collect things.
WOW that was a lot of stuff. They sure have a lot of collections!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow there was a lot of stuff there. I can't believe all those phones. That's crazy prices for those boxes.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lot of jewelry. I have just a few items for myself. Looks like they kept every phone they ever had. I’d think some might be a collector item but just gave to find the right collector. The wreaths seem too high - Hobby Lobby has some for half those prices with their 40% off. I have my mom’s Corning ware coffee pot era 1960 and we get it out once in awhile and it makes excellent coffee.
ReplyDeleteI've been to several estate sales around where I live. I'm astounded and overwhelmed with all the "stuff" that's for sale. It's almost obscene. Why in the world do people accumulate all that? Linda, imagesisee.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Never seen so much stuff in one home. Looks more like a "nice" thrift store. Would love to have been with you. I probably couldn't have bought anything though. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm trembling looking at all that "stuff". So much! I'd think the prices would be lower if they want to move a lot of it.
ReplyDeleteSnow? I'm starting to feel it in the air - it's coming.
Holy mackerel. SO much stuff in such a small place. Hoarders?? I also was eyeing the Corningware percolator---what a blast from the past! ~Suz
ReplyDeleteOMG that is TOO much stuff. I'm surprised it wasn't priced better to get rid of it all.
