Another Estate Sale

There's an abundant amount of estate sales lately. Spring and Fall seem to be the peak time for them!

I didn't take a picture of this house because this was posted on the door when I went in.

I left the number of the realtor on there in case you want to call and take a look at it!

It was the first day, so it was super crowded. I had to park quite a way down the street.

I thought the kitchen was pretty meh for a $900,000 house.

There were a couple pretty sets of china.

This one was $160.00

This one was $430.00! They were both very pretty.

This was a pretty wood floor with a tile inlay.

There were lots of plants for sale, too. Most of them looked like they were half dead!

Umm..ok?

That was totally random! I did not look close enough to see the price!

There is always a stand mixer at these sales!

This one was $350.00. Must be the fancy copper bowl!

This fancy bird house.

No price on it.

These were in the basement.

The pinball game was $130, and the slot machine was $500.00.

I thought this vase was very pretty!

It was $40.

I really liked this platter.

I already have several that I rarely use so I passed. There was no price on it.

These signs by the stairs to the basement.

An estate sale with a sense of humor!

I had my eye on something, but I did not want to pay full price. I took the chance that it would still be there and went back the next day. Everything was 30% off so and nabbed this baby:

I've been wanting another Thanksgiving cactus since mine died a few years ago. This one is healthy and full of buds!

I paid $16 for it, which is more than I usually spend at estate sales but definitely worth it to me!

In other news, I saw this hopscotch during my walk the other day.

I was pretty impressed!

I went to another estate sale on the same day, and I'll tell you about that one the next time.

Until then, take care and thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hmmm on the lingerie! Not what you expect at an estate sale.
Your cactus is a nice one.
I'm impressed by the hopscotch too.

  2. That is a really fancy hopscotch! The cactus looks beautiful. You will have to post when it blooms. I would have bought the howling wolf and cactus!

  3. That kitchen is NOT a kitchen in a $900,000 home! Lingerie at an estate sale?? So weird!

  4. Pretty expensive items.
Did you stop to play hopscotch when you walked by. I always do. :)

  5. From the listing that looks like a pretty impressive house but I agree that the kitchen isn't much to write home about. I had a cactus like that years ago. I kept it alive for a long time before I killed it.
Someone got creative with their hopscotch

  6. For 900,000 that kitchen is horrible. Love the Cactus, great buy.

  7. Hummm...$900 thousand...The panties and hose clip was funny.
The 1st set of dishes was a good buy though...and glad you grabbed the plant! Great deal for one that size!
    Happy week friend!

  8. Good Golly---are those crotchless underwear? Hilarious!
The stand mixer seems overpriced, but I love your Thanksgiving cactus. That was a good investment!
