Phone Dump

It’s been a while since I did a phone dump. I have a few pictures to show so here we go.

I took this screen shot off of a home movie because I wanted to show it to my friend Celia that lives in Florida

We're both 10 years old and this is during a Camp Fire Girls ceremony.

I recently got a new wall hanging for our front room.

Before was this old picture from Home Interiors that I have had for years.

New is this beautiful wall hanging from Hobby Lobby. I love the wrought iron
and wood look.

This was my car in the parking lot at work last week during a very foggy night.

Although I don't mind driving in fog that night was a little bit too foggy for me and I was nervous driving home. Mostly afraid a deer would run out in front of me!

Normally we attend the 9:16 service at church but the Sunday the time changed we didn't get it together in time, so we went to the 11:16 service instead.

It was a lot more crowded and the service was delayed for about 10 minutes while cars were still pouring into the parking lot when it was supposed to begin! I'm glad me and Rich always get there 15-20 minutes early!

And speaking of church today was communion Sunday. I wondered how they do communion because of the congregation being so big.

As we walked in the door they gave us these little containers that looked like coffee cream containers. There was a small communion wafer on the top and then a little bit of grape juice inside. I thought it was pretty clever!

I love our church!

That's all for now. I'll be back in a few days with another estate sale to tell you about!

Until then take care and thanks for stopping by!

  1. I think covid changed the way, many churches did communion. We used to pass the tray to each person to take from the plate but now every church uses these all ready put together communion cups so each one is separately wrapped. At my church, I help prepare the communion and we drop a little biscuit thingy in one cup, then put the next cup on top and I use this little dispenser to pour the grape juice. And of course now days we have gluten free wafers in tge back.

  2. Wonder why church doesn't start on the 15 after the hour instead of 16. :)
It's such a blessing to find a church you love. I love my church too!! :)

    1. We've wondered that ourselves! There is a huge Catholic church about a mile down the road, and I wonder if they coordinate service times to avoid a lot of traffic. Maybe 16 minutes is how long it takes for traffic to clear? I probably should ask somebody!

  3. Your old home interiors picture was nice but I love the new wall hanging.
I don't like driving in real heavy fog.
That's a pretty clever way to do communion.

  5. We did not have Campfire Girls here, but I remember a commercial on TV for it! I like your new wall hanging. I've never heard of a church service being delayed due to people still arriving. That is a big cup of grape juice! When I was a teen, our family attended a mega church and the communion was passed down the aisles (similar to the offering basket) and there were little tiny cup holders built into the back of the pews to put the empty cups.

  7. When we're in Georgia, I had this terrible fear of a deer or bear running into the road---it happens!
    The updated artwork is lovely.
Your church seems like such a great place to be!

  8. It's always fun to go through pictures on our phones to relive our past memories and week! The timechange was pretty difficult on us too. Always loved Home Interior pictures, but I like the newer pictures and wall hangings too! We get a lot of fog here, and I don't care for it at all. Blessings to you :)

  11. I love the new wall hanging!
I've always attended smaller churches, so we always get up and go to the alter. That's a pretty clever way though if your church is big.
