I'm going to show you them in three separate posts because they are picture heavy!
This is the first house:
It's in a very desirable neighborhood in Northville.
I didn't take a lot of pictures of the house itself but there were a few interesting things.
This was at the front door.
Funny after never seeing that at estate sales before this is the second time this season!
They were asking $5 each.
I liked this little table.
It was marked $20.
I really liked this copper bucket. It had wood in it.
If I still had a fireplace I would definitely have considered it. There was no price on it.
This shiny sequined vest was interesting.
I didn't see a price on this either.
This light was hanging very low.
And I mean low. I'm 5'1 and the top of my head came to the bottom of the lamp shades!
I wanted to buy this cream and sugar set. It was priced $8 "as is."
Upon closer inspection, one of the handles on the sugar bowl was broken off so I passed.
Was not impressed with this fireplace. I don't know..too much I think!
There was lots of outdoor furniture.
This pink Carhartt sweatshirt was my size and I wanted to buy it. It was priced at $10
But it had a few stains on it that I didn't think I could get out so once again I passed!
I don't know what these were!
No thanks!
This was the master bedroom.
It was huge!I assume this was the lady of the house in her younger years.
I did not buy anything at this sale.
Driving back out to the main road, I kept crossing a stream that went all throughout the neighborhood. Since the water levels were so high at the time it was flowing pretty good. There was even a small waterfall behind one house! I wish I would have stopped and taken pictures it was so pretty!
Anyway, I'll be back in a few days with estate sale #2.
Until then take care and thanks for stopping by!

Oh my, those two dolls are kinda creepy. I enjoy your posts on the estate sales. Boy the water levels are high. Hope the floods start to drop.
ReplyDeleteThat house reminds me of one that was up the street from me when I was growing up. Of course I think that one was probably way smaller than this one
ReplyDeleteOh my - a pricey place! I love the copper bucket but don't know where I would put it either.
ReplyDeleteI have never known any area to have as many yard sales as you! I adore this house, it is my kind of house. A one story ranch. But the things in it look kind of shabby and dark. I don't see anything that I would buy.
ReplyDeleteWeird Christmas dolls! I bet they were from the 1960's.
ReplyDeleteYes, those dolls are a bit creepy!!
ReplyDeleteI love the copper boiler and probably would have bought it. :)
You always go to the coolest estate sales, smiles. Wishing you a beautiful Sunday.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a big home. I look at those and think about what a pain to keep them clean. That bedroom alone!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas dolls had to be from the 60's or 70's. I have a creepy Santa from then.
ReplyDeleteOh dear ... I do love that huge master bedroom but after paying nearly a million dollars for that house, I'd have to spend another quarter million remodeling and redecorating it! And I'm probably guessing on the low end. I hate to think about all the stuff of mine that my kids will have to get rid of when I die. Ugh xoxo 🏴☠️
ReplyDeleteThose Christmas Elves look like the vintage ones from the 70's. Love the large master bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering whether there might have been a dining table under the low-hanging chandelier prior to the sale?
I don't know what to think about the sequined vest: FUN?
