Well, this is a change. No estates sale to tell you about this post!
Instead, I'm going to tell you about my taste decorations and why it's kind of a pain in the butt!
So, I like metal home decor.
Any furniture, wall or other home decor always catches my eye! It's my taste! I can't help it.
Note: My future daughter in law, Jenna, has the same taste. Their house is filled with beautiful metal wall decor!
Anyway, here's what I have so far.
This little side table.
This shelf and the candle holder on the desk below it.
These wall hangings in our bedroom.
This bedside table lamp. There's two of them.
This sconce in the bathroom.
This wall hanging.
These end tables in the family room. There's two of them.
This calendar.
And, of course, the tray that I got from the estate sale in the previous post.
So that's a lot of metal and a lot of scrolled metal decorations!
I love it except for when it comes time to clean it all! It takes forever to dust those little scrolls and angles!
But it's worth it to me!
In other news! I got a waxed amaryllis for Easter that bloomed and then the blooms died. I read that you can replant the bulb so I took the wax off and planted it.
I hope it works!

ReplyDeleteI have a lot of wood and metal furniture in my basement. The tables have an x with the metal and even that is a pain to dust. All your stuff looks nice though. I like the look but I don't have that much.
ReplyDeleteI like the industrial metal look with straight lines. I mix it with wood. Its funny how my taste does change about every 10. Not all at once because that would be expensive but it does change and then I wonder why I liked a particular something in the first place. I love a minimalist look - my husband, not so much so we compromise the best we can. I'm in the mood to start changing things up all over. It will take me awhile!
